GALLATIN
PUBLIC AFFAIRS
I was brought on by strategist Meghan Stringer to refresh the brand and website for Gallatin Public Affairs, a longstanding public affairs agency focused on the industries, government, and politics of the Pacific Northwest. Their team includes political strategists, lobbyists, communicators, researchers and organizers. They are headquartered out of Portland, with deep connections in the larger region going back over 30 years.
For their new identity, they were seeking a bold, clear pivot to highlight the dynamism and skillset of their team, while avoiding the typical tropes of old-fashioned affairs agency branding. The new look and feel is a strong departure from their previous brand, and it always a bonus to work with a client seeking a clear change. They settled on a vivid color blocked style that conveys energy, maturity, and confidence. Bold, full-bleed color thrives in a digital space, and can easily be integrated or adjusted for day-to-day print applications.
